One of the funniest memes on the internet: LeBron James getting hit in the eye

You can’t dispute that LeBron James is an entertainer, regardless of how you feel about him as a basketball player. The Lakers player has given a plethora of meme inspiration throughout the years, whether on or off the court. After LeBron alleged Draymond Green poked him in the eye during a game against the Golden State Warriors in May, his detractors had much to say.

James made a three-pointer to win the game only a few seconds later. The photo of the basketball player appearing to heal after getting poked in the eye went viral and was turned into a meme. Some dubbed him “actor of the year” because of his outlandish reaction. He may have won the game, but basketball fans were not so forgiving.
